Key West Weather

Key West Weather

Key West WeatherKey West has to be one of the sunniest and warmest places in the United States year round. Our climate in the winter maintains at around 75-80 degrees with warmer days mixed in.

The weather is almost perfect every day here with passing showers that really don’t last all day long like the fronts experienced up north.

The Florida Keys are the closest you’ll get to the equator while still being in the United States. Come enjoy our tropical paradise whenever the weather is getting you down.

The Florida Keys are situated within the subtropical region of the Western hemisphere.آ Because of its proximity to the Gulf Stream and the Gulf of Mexico, the Keys have a mild tropical-maritime climate where the average summer and winter temperatures rarely differ more than 10 degrees.

Key West Fishing Report

This past Sunday and Monday, since the winds were out of the east, our captain reported hooking three Sailfish in only a day and a half. When the winds have been right this winter, the Sailfish have been red hot. We've also seen some success with other Deep Sea species, such as Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Dorado. Our captains have been successful in depths of 120-foot to 180-foot using live bait on kite and drift.
